There are many design schools out there with fresh and creative innovative types of people out there.  Talking to people at local design schools lets you find the right designers that are budding and talented. 

It’s a great way to approach problems from a different way of life and yields a unique solution.  Sometimes the yearly exhibitions may be a good way to find the right talent that you need. 

Hosting contests and Workshops. 

Why not make this a fun little competition. It will allow you to; bring in different designers, fostering creative collaboration. 

They also may give you some different insights into problems that they can solve, their own work ethic, and how they work as a team too! 

Go international 

Sometimes your right designer might not even be in your country. 

International designers are great if you want a different feel and culture of the piece.  This is a good way to ensure that you have a broader marketplace to find the ideal fits for the designs you have. 

VR and AR 

Finally, consider using the VR and AR aspects.  With how much it’s come alive, it’s really transforming the industries that are there. Some of these do include design. 

Sketchfab for example allows for a person to create a 3D model of their designs.  It lets you create a more immersive type of experience.
